everything is on the up and up. I have been doing a whole lot better. I am glad to say that I am finally on the right track. I am using only ONE planner and keeping all my crochet projects/ideas in ONE folder so I can easily keep track of them.

I have been wanting to start running....BUT thanks to the hurricane winds and fires I have been stuck inside, that is unless I feel like breathing in smoke and being rained with ash (I don't!).

I have slowly but surely (that's me!) been getting everything organized. This is a lot of work, but very worth it. I hope to have everything in tip top shape soon.

I'll be checking in later.

Its funny and ironic how my last post was about my blog neglectfulness.....I still continue to neglect my poor blog. I feel bad, but sometimes I can't even find the time to live! I keep leaving myself reminders, but they are in so many different places, and then I forget to check them and all that. Ugh....I keep wanting to just start over. My room is a mess, I am a mess, everything is just a mess! mess! mess!

Tomorrow = my new start (I mean it this time!)

I will start by having a clean room and workspace, also using ONE planner for my reminders and such.

that is all...for now.

I will post updates so that I can keep myself in check

By the way, as far as crafts go...I am currently working on a blanket for myself, just finished a sweater for lucky see picture below (not very good quality) and I still have to start a blanket for Nick and beanies for Justin and Brandon. Lots of work! =]

oh no! I have been neglecting my blog! bad, bad, bad me! I have just been a crazy mess! I have been doing this and that and work and sleep and play and basically everything except my blog! I am soo sorry blog, I still love you! I have just been preoccupied.....I will get better at updating and post new stuff for you soon.....just not right now =(

needing an update

Well, it has been over a week since I had a chance....no actually its been a week since I decided to update my blog. I have just been so indecisive.....

My life consists of:
-Being at home
-work
-Ryan
-crafts
-and everything else

When I am at home, I hate to admit it, but I generally waste time and just float by. I have been wanting to change that, to be productive, to do something, but I never get around to it (I blame my laziness and long time habit of procrastination). When I am at work I am dying to get home....when I am with Ryan, I am happy, but doing nothing (watching tv....reading....sometimes crafts.) And I am just overall unhappy about this at the moment.

I want to get on the ball, to finally grow up and get organized....to be responsible, reliable, and happy.

It takes baby steps and I have to start somewhere....so let's see what happens......

I don't like to be one to complain too much, but I hate being sick (as I am sure no one would actually enjoy it). But anyways, this is the 4th day and it has gradually gotten worse and worse. I am at the point where I do not even want to get out of bed! I have not missed work and I am not looking forward to going and being all sick. But, I need money and my coworkers count on me. I love my job, but I don't like to be there when I am sick. Well, I will hope for the best and that today goes by super fast!

Lucky

Tomorrow I am getting the cute chihuahua named Lucky. I am watching him for a week as a favor to Ryan's aunt. I don't mind because he is adorable and he is well trained (no messes to clean in the house). The down side is that he is like a baby, he needs constant attention, so my projects get hindered. We shall see what I can accomplish. Until later.....

A post from work (we have a little down time)

So here I sit sad and weary...I feel as though I am not a very productive person, even though I could be if I really wanted to. I know I could do anything I wanted to as long as I try. BUT, today I am feeling "woe is me" sad and it sucks. I feel as though I have a million things to do and not enough in which to do them all, but I know I am just fooling myself. I need to bite the bullet and just start on something and not give up until it is completely finished. For example, I was all psyched about finishing that awesome black and gray striped handbag and I did finish the crochet part of it, but I still have to put in the lining. I have all material I need, I just have't gotten around to doing it. I think I need to first of all organize and clean my space so that I do have somewhere to work and then I need to just tackle all these half finished projects and just do them!

I have also been dying to take pictures of all my work so that I can have a visual and not just ramblings about them. I know that would make my posts more interesting...so that is one more thing to add to my list. Hopefully this week will mark my new beginning.

I have finished crocheting my most current handbang. Tomorrow I will figure out the lining and give it a nice zipper! I am happy to finally finish one completely. It should be 100% done by friday *I hope*. I still need to do laundry....lazy bum! I am looking forward to the lineman dinner tomorrow! Yay! Go knights!

So I am working on ANOTHER handbag, I know, I know, I am horrible at finishing a project, but I promise I will very soon. I am working hard this 3 day weekend. so I thought I was NEVER going to finish the rose heather handbag because I got stuck with tangled yarn! I was a mess, and I was definitely ready to just chuck the whole thing into a tree shredder! But thankful my knight in shining armor Ryan came to my rescue and untangled my mess.

Also, I am against hot cheetos! they are evil! they continue to torment me because they are oh so good, but they make me sick! so gone forever from my tummy they are! I will never eat one again.....or at least try not to =]

I got more craft supplies to finish my handbags. That made me very happy, but now I am not so happy because I don't know how much I am liking the results. I tend to be a little impatient sometimes and I think I am being that way now, so I need to just take a break, relax and once everything is finished with all the final details, I know I will be proud and happy all over again!

I am completely bummed. I didn't get to finish the rose heather colored handbag I was working on. I ran out of yarn and now I need to go buy some more. In the meantime I have started another one. This one is a seaspray colored fat bottom purse. I am going to buy some nice round handles for it and then I can also get the rose heather yarn. I am actually quite determined and proud of all the hard work I am putting into these handbags. I hope you can enjoy them and I will get pictures if them up as soon as I can.

that music makes us come alive! I absolutely love music. it's a great way to express your most deep feelings. I love to listen to music and be able to just feel how much heart that artist put into the song. If you didn't know I was a bit of a band geek....so I play many instruments and read music. I have tried writing music, but mostly for my own enjoyment. I love bass guitar since that is what I am most good at. I hope that Ryan, Justin, and I can get recording something again....but it's hard to get everyone on the same page. Anyway, I am thankful for the wonderful music that all those talented musicians out there produce for us.

I have been working all week on my next handbag and it's almost finished! I cannot wait! I will post pictures as soon as its all done. I am still contemplating which embellishment I should use. We shall see.

Okay, First POST! I am happy to say that I finally have everything working how it should and I am excited to start my new blog. As far as crafting goes....I finished my first handbag! WOO! Anyone else excited?!!? I am already working on my next project. I just love it! I can't stop crafting =]
